The girl’s weekend games are proceeding as planned on Saturday and Sunday. The wintry mix in Arlington left 1/2 inch of snow on most of the fields. The U13 & U14 girls were able to play games Friday evening. While the playing conditions are certainly not ideal, the field surface is firm and traction is adequate. Hopefully players will enjoy the unique experience of playing in our wintry conditions this weekend. As of Saturday evening most of our fields are predominantly snow free and we’re looking forward to Sunday’s matches.

Players should dress appropriately for the blustery weather. We appreciate our visiting teams support in helping to keep the Spring Invitational on track as nearly every other Mid-Atlantic soccer tournament has been cancelled this weekend.
