The ATSC Uniform Policy The ATSC Uniform Policy
(current, March 2007)

  Uniform Policy Objectives:

  • To provide maximum merchandise quality at the best value to the players
  • To obtain the best benefits for the club in the areas of sponsorship and discounts
  • To establish a local ‘single source’ provider for these services
  • To promote club branding and uniformity across the organization

To meet these objectives, ATSC has adopted a club-wide uniform style and an exclusive club uniform provider. Starting in the fall of 2006, the club-approved uniforms will be available for purchase at Matt Godek Rugby & Soccer Supply in Merrifield, Virginia. All teams will use Matt Godek Rugby & Soccer Supply for all new uniform purchases. All teams will switch to the ATSC official uniforms by the fall 2007 season. The new uniform is optional for 1988 teams.

Teams will purchase the club-approved uniform styles, with logo and numbers as set forth by the Club. All teams will use the club colors of royal blue, white, and red; the primary color is royal blue with white and red accents/trim/numbers for jerseys and shorts (jerseys and shorts must match).  The alternate shirt/jersey color, for use when the opposing team wears similar colors, is white with royal blue and red accents/trim/numbers.  The ATSC logo will be placed on the front upper left side of the jerseys, shirts, and warm-ups.  All teams are encouraged to use the ATSC logo on team bags and other suitable equipment.

The current styles available and approved by the Club are: Adidas Squadra, Adidas Libero, and Adidas United.  The alternate (white) jersey will be Squadra style unless individual teams would like to order an alternate jersey in either Libero or United to match their main jersey.  White team t-shirts are also an option for the alternate jersey--they must have the standard logo and numbers used on all ATSC jerseys.

From U9 through U12, all boys teams within an age group and all girls teams in each age group will select the same uniform style, and the player numbers will be unique across the teams in each age group. This facilitates player movement between the teams without the need to purchase new uniforms. The uniform style of boys teams need not match the uniform style of the girls teams in an age group, and likewise, the numbers need not be unique across the girls and boys teams in an age group.

Teams will consult with the ATSC Uniform Coordinator before placing orders.  Teams and Arlington players will receive added benefits from purchasing all uniforms through a single source.

If you have any questions if you would like the current price list, please contact the ATSC Uniform Chair Christine Williams.
