Arlington Travel Soccer Club
The ATSC player fee for each season includes:

Coaching Compensation — The ASA makes it a priority to select and retain the finest coaching staff in the area. All payments to your team coach, and assistant coach, will be made by the ASA.

Player Development Programs — supplemental player development programs, offered during the season, such as functional training and goalkeeper training.

Off Season Playing Program — team training, age group training, player clinics and other training opportunities, offered by the club during the off-season months.

ASA Uniform — The ASA player fee includes a uniform kit every two years starting in the fall 2009. The kit includes 2 jerseys, 2 pairs of shorts and two pairs of socks. Backpacks and warm-up suits are not included.

Staff Compensation — The ASA employs a qualified, professional staff to direct and oversee all aspects of the travel soccer program. All or a portion of these salaries are paid from the player fees.

Club Administration Costs — on-line registration, office supplies, equipment, etc.

League Membership and Fees — fees for team participation in the appropriate league.

VYSA, USYSA and USSF Fees — registration, insurance and other benefits with the Virginia Youth Soccer Association, the United States Youth Soccer Association and the United States Soccer Federation.

Risk Management and Background Checks — security checks performed on all ASA coaches.
Your ASA fee also helps to support:

Financial Assistance Program — to help support families that demonstrate financial need.

ASA Community Outreach Programs — club sponsored and supported programs to promote soccer to disadvantaged children in the Arlington and Falls Church communities.
The ASA player fee does not include:

Tournaments — teams will pay all costs associated with playing tournaments. Tournaments will be selected by the team coach and approved by the Director of Coaching and be a required part of each team’s annual plan. The team will pay for any additional approved tournaments. The Club expects that the higher level teams in each age group above U12 will compete in more than three tournaments a year.

Coaches Expenses — Travel and accommodation expenses for coaches are not included in the player fee.

State Cup — teams playing State Cup will pay all costs.

Additional Gear — teams or players will have to pay for additional or optional gear. This includes backpacks, warm up suits, practice tee shirts and extra pieces of uniform such as socks, shirts or shirts.

ASIST Tournament — the entrance fee for the ASIST tournament is not covered by the player fee. All Arlington teams selected to play in the tournament will not be charged an entrance fee. However, all Arlington teams are expected to provide field management services for the age group in which they play.

Winter indoor league fees/ Futsol league fees — the player fee does not include winter indoor leagues or futsol league fees.

Club patches — Club patches, traditionally given out at tournament are not included.

STAR referee expenses — ASA does not reimburse a team for STAR referee program expenses.
