Request for Information from Your Volunteer Webmaster
December 10, 2003

Dear Coaches and Managers:

When you look at the ATSC website, you'll see many wonderful additions,
thanks to our volunteer webmaster, Chug Roberts.  He's transforming our site
into an even more useful, informative and fun-to-look at communication tool,
but now we need your help.  See below for the various requests for
information.  The more thorough you can be, the better resource our website
will become.

Great News!! For all you managers who, like me, have hesitated in learning
how to update your team websites, Chug has provided a great new resource.
He's created a short manual on how to use the ATSC website (see link below).
Please check it out and try it out to make your team websites an effective
sales tool.

Finally, don't forget to keep sending in those pictures.  Please remember:
they need to be action shots, and they need to be players in ATSC-approved
uniforms. Thanks to Chug for all his ideas and thanks in advance to you for
supplying us with tournament, clinic and training information.

Nancy

* * * YOUR TEAM'S WEB PAGE * * *

Does your team have a volunteer for your team's web page on the ATSC site?
Do they need help learning how to use the administrative side of the ATSC
site?  Do they wish they had someone they could contact with questions?
We've recently started a short manual on how to use the ATSC web site for
team managers and your web-volunteer parent.  Come on, it's easy.
  See http://www.atsc-va.org/resources/managerweb/64942.html for more info.

And although the ATSC webmaster will not update your team's web page, our
volunteer webmaster IS happy to answer any questions from you or ONE of your
parent volunteers who wants to learn how to add or change information,
pictures and links on your team's web page.  Just have them contact:
webmaster@atsc-va.org

* * * ACTION PHOTOS * * *

We're still looking for action photos to feature on the ATSC home page.
We've recently featured photos of the Scorpions (U16B), Pride (U12G), and FC
Arlington (U11B).  We're looking for ACTION shots, so ask your parents if
they have any good ones.  We'd like to change the photo each week, so get
cracking!

.jpg format preferred - we can crop and resize as needed.  Send up to 6
action photos to: webmaster@atsc-va.org

We've added a page of links to good resources for soccer moms and dads.
