ASA Job Opportunity: Travel Administrator

ASA is looking for candidates for a new part-time staff position of Travel Administrator.
Job Summary:
The Travel Administrator handles several key duties for our Travel program. This person will coordinate the registration of teams with their respective leagues (Summer/early Fall). This person will manage the uniform procurement and distribution process (Summer/early Fall, and some in early Spring as well). Finally, this person will coordinate ASA’s financial aid program for Travel players. This position reports to the Executive Director and works closely with other ASA staff. This is a part time position with a high degree of seasonality. As this is not a full time, in-the-office position, the Administrator must be comfortable working from home and should be able to establish his / her own schedules. The Administrator also needs to provide clear communications to other ASA staff when needed, and he / she must be available for communication on a reasonable basis.
Qualifications:
The Administrator must be comfortable working with the public, and should be able to work with some members of the public with limited English language abilities. Spanish or other foreign language ability is a plus. The Administrator should be detail oriented and good with math. Computer proficiency and internet savvy are both mandatory. Experience working with vendors (the research, selection and management thereof) is very helpful as is experience dealing with contracts. Familiarity with ASA’s soccer programs is a plus. All ASA staff must pass annual background checks.
Pay range: $20,000 to $25,000 depending of qualifications
