Ariel started the TOPSoccer program here in Arlington in the fall of  2002 with the help of Dave Williams, the VYSA coordinator.  In addition to helping run the program here in Arlington, Ariel represented Arlington at VYSA TOPSoccer meetings and helped write a “Buddy Tip Sheet” and “Player Snap Shot” which succinctly provide buddies with information about the players.  These are now used throughout the program in Virginia .  In addition, Ariel helped make Dave Williams’ vision for a TOPSoccer festival a reality.  She coordinated all aspects of the Annual Dave Williams Memorial TOPSoccer Festival which was held for the first time last February.
