U19B Fusion Win NCSL Division II
U19B Fusion finished the fall season in 1st place of NCSL Div 2 with a 7-1-1 record. They won their last game of the season against PWSI Courage 91 Red, who displayed great defense and resilience! The anxiety of playing the last game of the season for the championship was very exciting and a nail-biter all the way to the end! After a scoreless first half, the “pressure to score” in the second half was evident on the field. This was Coach Ariel Fernandez first season with this team which only had a handful of returning players steal leading the Fusion to victory! The team’s chemistry consistently improved over the season allowing them to prevail against some very stiff competition. The team looks forward to the spring season. Congratulations on a great fall.
