The Venom concluded State Cup Play with a 5-0-0 record scoring an impressive 32 goals for with only 1 goal against in the five State Cup games.
With State Cup concluded the Venom will spend the next week playing three league NCSL games to finish out their fall season and then prepare for the CASL Showcase and Disney Showcase in December. By virtue of winning the State Title the team will advance to the Region I Regional Championship Tournament to be held July 1-6, 2010, in Huntington, West Virginia. The Region I winners will go on to play the US Youth Soccer National Championships held July 19-25, 2010, in Overland Park, Kansas.
