At the NVSC tournament in November, Eagles Blue had their very first tournament experience as a team, in the Gold (top) U9 division. In their three victories, they held their opponents to a total of four shots on goal. Eagles Blue were finally defeated by a very powerful team from York, PA,finished as runner-ups in the Gold Division.
The U9B Eagles Blue, a group of ten boys coached by Mo Tayari, achieved remarkable feats this fall. The team finished the NCSL season with a 9-0-0 record, achieving that mark with high-octane offense (59 goals) and stifling defense (16 goals against). On three occasions they held their opponents to just one shot on goal.
The 12 victories that Eagles Blue achieved in 13 matches this fall can be attributed to continuous improvement of skills, remarkable hustle and commendable direction from Coach Tayari."
