U10 B Impact Red Champions in the ASIST Premier Division
Congratulations IMPACT RED
In a hard fought championship game that went into the second overtime period, Arlington’s Impact Red team bested the GSC TAP Milan team 3-2. TAP Milan went up 1-0 within the first minute of play. As the teams continued to see saw from end to end, solid passing combinations gave Eliot Mercado a clean shot to tie the game 1 all. TAP Milan quickly responded bringing the score to 2-1. As the game clock wound down, a penalty inside the box brought a PK opportunity to Impact Red which was converted, tying the game at 2 all. The teams continued to play tremendous soccer making good combinations and making passing runs at each other’s goal. Goalie Daniel Harding made many solid plays to keep the scored tied. In the final minutes of the second overtime, Will McCreary danced through defenders and made a clean shot into the net. Congratulations to GSC TAP Milan for being more than a formidable competitor and to ATSC Impact Red team members Jack, Will , Roger, Jake, Daniel Daniel, Sam, Eliot, Pessi, Mason and Zack and coaches TJ White, Mike Woods & Steve Olivarez.
