U10 Boys Impact White Go Undefeated at the Dulles National Soccer Tournament

The Impact defeated SYSA Thunder 97, CSC FVVA 97, VSA Heat and Team America in the final 1-0.  The Impact scored 13 goals and only gave up 3 goals all weekend.  What a great start to the Fall season.  Congratulation Impact White!

U12B Inferno Go Undefeated at the Richmond Cup 

The Inferno played like Champions this weekend in the Richmond Cup Labor Day tournament.  The Inferno won the Navy division of the Richmond Cup with a 4-0 record bringing home 1st Place medals.  The Inferno played fantastic defense and created many goal scoring opportunities in the 4 games in which they outscored their opponents 17-4.   Congratulations on a great weekend. 

U10G Rowdies Win PWSI Tournament, September 1-3 

U10G Rowdies defeated the ALEX Samba, LMVSC Patriots and PWSI White to get to the finals. The final was against the BRYC Breeze and proved to be a challenge.  The game winner was scored late in the 2nd half by Colleen.  The Rowdies outscored their opponents 21-4 and pitched two shutouts.  Congratulation to the Rowdies Red: Fiona, Katie H., Kate M., Jessica, Haley, Ariana and Kristin and players from the Rowdies Blue: Sophie, Colleen, and Gabby. 

U18 G Blue Demons Win FPYC Patriot Cup, September 1-3

The Arlington Blue Demons win the U-18 girls division of the Patriot Cup.  The Blue Demons defeated the FPYC Spirit 1-0, the MSC Cougars, 2-0, the BAC Baracudas 4-0 and tied the Herndon Flyers 1-1. 

U11 G Juventus are Finalist in the August Cup

The Juventus won their flight with 3 wins scoring 16 goals and only 2 against before going to the Final.  In the Championship game they were upset only after double overtime and penalty kicks.  Congratulations on a great tournament.

U15 G Arlington Express FINALISTS in FPYC Patriot Cup

The Express defeated CYA Lightning (4-0), VYS Comets (2-0) and tied Columbia United (0-0) to win their flight and advance to the tournament finals for the second straight week!  In the finals, the Express played U-14G Thunder Extreme, currently ranked #11 in Maryland .  The hard fought game could not be settled after two overtimes (1-1 tie), and went to penalty kicks where the Express fell just short (4-2).The Express’ overall record in league and tournament play in 2007 is 18-4-3.  Congratulations to all Express players! 

U16 G Arlington Pride Finalists at August Cup

The Pride defeated MSI Panthers 5-0, ABGC Fusion 1-0, and MSC Glory 2-0 to reach the A group finals. Ellie Mills tallied 6 goals during the tournament. The girls were defeated 3-0 by the Mclean Dragons, a former VA State Cup champion, in the finals.

U17B Titans Finalist in PWSI Tournament, September 1-3  

The U17 Titans were finalists in the annual PWSI Toys for Tots tournament held at Valley View on September 1-3.  They defeated the Stafford Azzurri, FASA Hotspur, PWSI Courage White and PWSI Courage Red to advance to the championship for their age group.  After four games in 48 hours, with only one goal scored against, they were defeated by the NVSC Strykers.  Congratulations to the entire team for an excellent tournament and a great start to the Fall, 2007 season.  

U10 B Impact Blue Finalist in Dulles National Tournament, August 25-26 

The U10 Impact Blue finished second in their flight of the Dulles National Tournament.  They defeated SYC United Blue, McLean Legend White in penalty kicks.  They faced the Mason Dixon Red Devils in the finals and after falling behind early, they rallied to tie the score 2-2.  After a scoreless overtime the game was decided by penalty kick, with the Red Devils emerging victorious.  Congratulations on a great weekend.

U11 B Strikers White Finalist in PWSI, September 1-3

The U11 Strikers were finalist in the annual PWSI Toys for Tots Tournament.  They defeated VISTA Dulles FC 9-2, FCSC United 6-4 and NVSC Arsenal Blue 8-2.  In the final, the Strikers lost to the NVSC Jr. Royals 97 4-1.  Congratulations on a great tournament.

U17 B Action are Finalist in the August Cup Tournament

The Action made it to the finals in the August Cup after defeating FC Premier and ASC Lightning Red and a tie against VSA Heat.  In the championship game against the Braddock Road Condors (U19 Division 1) the Action gave their best taking the game into overtime and 6 rounds of penalty kicks.  Congratulations on a great tournament.
