Battlefield Classic* Redux

To "make up" for the rained out, Columbus Day classic, the Arlington U10 Girls Academy hosted a REDUX on Saturday, February 3.  Here are the details:

Battlefield Classic Redux Rules
1) Substitutions
Substitutions shall be unlimited , but made only at the following times:
a) Goal kick.
b) Restart after a goal.
c) Throw In- by team either team.
d) After a yellow card – for carded player.
e) An injured player may be substituted for at the discretion of the referee. If a substitution is made for the injured player, 
the opposing team may also make a one substitution (with the referee’s acknowledgement).
f) At the beginning of an overtime period.
2) Determining Group Winners
a) 3 points will be earned for a win, 1 point for a tie, and no points for a loss. Overtime and penalty kicks will 
only be used to decide semi-final and championship matches. 
b) Where it is required to break a tie in the standings within a division the following order will be used to determine the winner:
 -1 Head to Head competition (except where 3 teams are tied).
 -2 Least number of goals allowed.
 -3 Most goals scored.
 -4 Penalty kicks. If necessary these kicks will take place immediately before the semi-final or championship match.
*Penalty Kicks are completed in sets of 3 followed by sudden death.
3) Tournament Play
The duration of each match is 22 minutes with no halftime or switch of sides. 
The format is 7v7 with a Size 4 soccer ball.
Arlington will provide the match balls.
4) Awards
Each player from the winning team will receive a NEW size 4 soccer ball.
Extra balls may be awarded at the tournament's discretion.
