The Generals finished the fall season they way they began it, with a tournament championship. This time it was the Mid County Soccer Association Fall Classic, and it was against the highest quality competition they faced during the season.

In their opening game the Generals faced the host MCSA White Tigres, from division 3 of the NCSL. On the strength of tight defending, ball control and timely finishing, the Generals came away the clear victors, with a 2-0 win. In their second match of the opening day, the competition got even stiffer, with the division 2 NCSL McLean Speed on the other side of the center line. With more tenacious defending -- and some heroics in the net – the Generals kept their championship hopes alive with a tense 0-0 draw.
On the morning of day two the Generals faced the other host team, the MCSA United. The United will be moving up to division 3 of the NCSL in the spring, and they showed why. The Generals struck twice early, and then held on for another 2-0 win, and a third consecutive clean sheet for their keeper. In the afternoon, with the championship on the line, the Generals faced off with the LMVSA Patriots. One might think that based on their place in the NCSL tables the Patriots would have provided the Generals with a bit of a respite, but on the contrary, the Patriots gave the Generals all – and almost more – than they could handle. The defense was tested a number of times, and passed each test, and a late strike from Jaras (a.k.a. Bob, a.k.a “El Toro”) gave the Generals a 1-0 win and the championship.
The Generals finished the tournament undefeated with a record of 3 wins and 1 tie. They were unscored upon in the tournament, with the Generals' goalkeeper posting 4 consecutive clean sheets. Well done Generals!
