The Fusion competed in the SYA Cardinal Cup, finishing 2nd Place in the HS Boys Premier bracket, the weekend of August 16/17, 2008. The weekend saw a number of great moments from the return of Danny from a back injury that kept him out of the Spring 2008 season to the team scoring a total of 14 goals and Alex keeping 3 clean sheets over the course of the weekend. Goals were scored over the weekend by Kevin, Danny, Arthur, Daniel, Matt, George, Jay, Fitz and Freddy. We lost a tough one to the SYA United, another Div3 team but got the results we needed in our other games and accomplished our goals for the weekend: work together and have fun!
