This weekend saw the Fusion compete in the Nicole Cup...a 4 v 4 tournament named after Nicole Megaloudis, a local soccer player who passed away in 2004. The Tournament, which has sponsorship from DC United and other local businesses, provides scholarship assistance to local students through the Nicole Megaloudis Foundation.

The Fusion broke into 2 teams for the weekend, Blue & Red. We had a great time and performed well, with the Blue team finishing 1st in their bracket and Red team finishing 2nd. We had a great time and really started to come together for the Fall 2007 season.
