The U-17 Arlington Fury’s mission is to improve the tactical and functional skills of each player, foster offensive and defensive team play and team work, and have fun while playing and enjoying the game of soccer. The team is moving to WAGS for the spring 2010 season and has openings for interested players.
The Fury will be holding joint practices/tryouts on Wednesdays in January with the U-16 Intensity Blue team, which also plays in WAGS. Current players on both teams are guaranteed their slots for the spring season, but both teams need new players. The practices/tryouts are planned for Wednesdays in January and February (Jan. 6, 13, 20, and 27; Feb. 3, 10 and 17), weather permitting, from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Virginia Highlands field, 1501 S. Hayes St., Arlington. Current players and those interested in joining either team should attend.
