ARLINGTON ARSENAL U15 BOYS ON A WINNING STREAK!
The Arlington Arsenal U15 Boys travel soccer team is on a roll! This motivated team of high school freshmen has climbed the travel soccer ladder by moving up four divisions in just two years in both the Old Dominion Soccer League (ODSL) and the National Capital Soccer League (NCSL). Continuing its winning streak, Arsenal has won its first three games of the Spring 2008 NCSL season. The team also took First Place in the Winter 2008 Indoor Soccer U15B Division at the Dulles Sportsplex in early March. Then, on March 29-30, the boys achieved another victory, winning the championship of their division in the PWSI Icebreaker Tournament.
The eighteen boys on the team represent six nationalities and ten local northern Virginia high schools. They are working hard and enjoy their friendships on and off the field. The Arsenal players are energized and excited about the NCSL experience and their high school soccer teams - Wish them luck!
Since joining the Arsenal as a brand new coach in September 2006, Coach Mo Tayari has developed a group of strong players. Tayari recently earned his prestigious “B" level coaching license after an extensive personal soccer career as an offensive forward on the Tunisian national soccer team and the professional team, Enfida Sport.
